There is a kind of grief no one prepares you for. It’s not your own suffering. It’s watching someone you love walk through pain while you’re powerless to rescue them. I call it sideline grief. Galatians 6:2 says, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” God didn’t ask me to fix it. He asked me to stay. Still isn’t failure.
