Sideline Grief: When You Love Someone You Can't Rescue
There is a kind of grief no one prepares you for.
It’s not your own suffering.
It’s watching someone you love walk through pain while you’re powerless to rescue them.
I call it sideline grief.
Galatians 6:2 says, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
God didn’t ask me to fix it. He asked me to stay.
Still isn’t failure. It’s faith on the sideline.
